Event: Chicago April, 1996 In April, 1996, men and women from across the United States and Canada gathered to discuss the human rights issues surrounding routine infant circumcision. Dr. Taylor presented his research on the foreskin and it's value in protection and sensitivity. Chick here for the results of his research. At the same time the AAP was holding their convention at the Chicago Marriott on Michigan Avenue, a group of men and women peacefully demonstrated at the hotel. Below, two Intactivists prepare for the demonstration. Also present were two representatives of "Nurses for the Rights of the Child", a growing group of nurses who refuse to assist in routine infant circumcision on humanitarian grounds. They are accompanied by two Intactivists.
