"Whose Body, Whose Rights?"
" The screening of "Whose Body, Whose Rights?"
went very well. In the weeks prior to the screening
several hundred flyers were distributed. The newspapers
also gave me free listings in their announcements. We
received numerous phone calls inquiring about the
screening.
At the screening was a physician by the name of Richard
DeAndrea, MD. He spoke about his background and
experiences with circumcision and why he opposes it. Also
at the screening was the coordinator for N.O.R.M. -
southern California, Steven Michaud. He spoke about the
movement and about foreskin restoration. Then we had a
question and answer period. It could have gone on all
night, but Dr. DeAndrea had to leave. Steven Michaud
stayed longer to answer more questions. We left at 11:30
PM. The evening was very powerful, emotional, informative
and inspiring. We met some people who really want to help
the cause.
I am planning to have more screenings in the future. I am
looking at other venues that might attract more
people.
A few days later Dr. DeAndrea did a radio program on the
topic of circumcision. Steven Michaud was his guest. Dr.
DeAndrea does a weekly radio program on a variety of
health topics and this was the first time he did a show
on circumcision. It all began when I gave him the video
to look at a few weeks ago!

"I just
wanted to let you know that the March 19th. screening
went well and we had a good turnout. I passed out several
hundred copies (of the flyer) and I made a 11" X 17" copy
for the front window of the bookstore."
