Fairfax Little League Honored at the Little League World Series

Fairfax Little League was selected as the Southern Region recipient of the Little League ASAP "Best Safety Program" award and also as the National Award Winner for 1999.  As the Southern Region and National Award recipient, Fairfax Little League will receive $500 toward the insurance premium or for the purchase of new safety equipment as well as a Musco Lighting system for a 200' radius field.  Mike Dec, the Fairfax Little League Safety Director, was honored during pre-game ceremonies at the Little League World Series. 

Thanks to Mike Dec and all of the members of Fairfax Little League for their diligent work in making Safety a #1 concern in Fairfax Little League.
